Motor City Comic Con 2009
Well the '09 Motor City Comic Con has come and gone and like every year, seemed to pass too quickly. We all had an awesome time and, of course, look forward to next years Con.
We'd like to thank everybody that stopped by and said, "Hello" and especially thank those that bought a dvd or picked up a flyer! We made some new friends and contacts this year and got to catch up with some folks we hadn't seen since previous conventions. One particular person we got to meet was Terrell Culbert, the mastermind behind Breathe Again Comics and Films and the All Girl Gang War series (both in comic and short film form). He's a fan of Suburban Heroes and you should be a fan of his. www.myspace.com/breatheagain4rell for info. We also got to chit chat with folks from No Fun Films and their current project, After The Bloodrush and tale of vampires and the government agents who hunt them in Hamtramck. This can also be found in both, comic book and feature film form so look them up on here as well and support the local indie folks who are out there bleeding to create some fine art for you. And of course we got to speak Brian Germain and the folks at Dark Elf Design and putting on the Midsummers Expo in July where we will next be appearing. Mark your calenders so ya'll can come down and see us there!
This year we did something different and premiered an episode of Suburban Heroes before it appears online! That episode is 204 and won't be online until after 203 gets completed and posted, so those who couldn't make it have a bit of a wait until they can see our first episode featuring a local semi-celebrity, Tom Sullivan!
In new news, Suburban Heroes is now available on iTunes as a podcast! Download the full season 1 now for your iPod or iPhone or follow the link from www.suburbanheroes.tv or www.runnamc.com Also, if you haven't already, look us up at www.imdb.com !
Lastly, we've recently shot some footage for the next episode of SH (episode 203) and it includes some special fx unlike what's been seen on the show thus far so everyone has that to look forward to. We'll have new pictures and such up here soon so check back often.
Thanks for reading!
