Check Out Our Friend's Website!

For our Michigan friends and anyone interested in the growing Michigan film industry,  check out the new website www.madebydetroit.com It's site put together and run by Runn AMC's cameraman in residence, Andy Yeomans, and has all kinds of info and updates on what's going on here in South-Eastern Michigan in regards to filmmaking, including contact info for film schools and programs and what projects are looking for help and casting casting calls and occasional interviews with local filmmakers. The first interview posted on the site is with Runn AMC's writer extraordinaire, Mike Kammer, so be sure to check that out for insight into the mind of writer and even a little in-depth info on Suburban Heroes!

The site is still new and just getting started so check it out now and let Andy know what kind of things you'd like to see on the site!

Once again, that's www.madebydetroit.com

Oh, and coming soon to the site, an interview with your's truly on the trials and tribulations of an indie film editor!

So stop reading this and type www.madebydetroit.com into your address bar already!!!

New news!

Howdy!

Mid Summers Expo has come and gone as cons so often do. Thanks to all who came out and said, "Hello"! It was a fun time in a cool (not literally chilled, as anyone there will attest) venue. Check out our Convention Pics album for photos of some of the interesting sites. It was fun as always catching up with vendor friends we generally only get to see at conventions and making new ones, such as Crazy Mark who did an interview with Terence (our editor and Billy Tanner look-a-like) which will someday show on his show and/or online at www.crazymarktv.com . More info about that when it's available.

In other Suburban Heroes news, we've added some new locations in the brick and mortar world where you can pick up a copy of our first dvd, Suburban Heroes Versus Season One! Locally, head on over to Comics And More in Madison Heights on John R. a block or two South of 12 Mile or Liberty Comics in Roseville at 27639 Gratiot Ave. for our East side friends! Both locations now stock our dvd so ask for it by name! For those out of state, specifically in Austin, TX, make your way to I Luv Video on Guadalupe St. or Airport Blvd. to rent our dvd. Those of you on the East coast, like in Baltimore, MD specifically, can now rent it at Video Americain so please do. And of course, dvds are still availble in all the places mentioned in previous posts, so head on out to your local video store and support some indie cinema!

Lastly, in SH news, check out our new Suburban Heroes-centric site, www.suburbanheroes.tv for all the latest in SH everything. Of course, Suburban Heroes info and more is still on our main site, www.runnamc.com as well. You can also find links to our other info outlets there such as our Twitter and Eblogger page and direct links to download Suburban Heroes episodes from I-Tunes. And just because I like mentioning it, check out our IMDB page as well! It's here!

In non-Suburban Heroes news (yes, we do other stuff) we shot a video of a concert for a local band, Skin Deep, a couple of months back and finally have gotten around to editing that footage.
